Tandoori Chicken Panini comes with a flavor of bold spices that makes it hard to resist. Tucked between pieces of naan or bread, the tandoori smoky chicken tastes incredibly tasty!
Tandoori Chicken Panini Recipe
- 1 pound Chicken breast boneless & skinless
- 1/2 cup Sodium Chicken broth reduced
- 1 Garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger root minced
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric ground
- 3 Green onions chopped
- 3 tbsp Mint Sauce / Barbecue Sauce
- 3 Naan flatbreads / Bread
- Olive Oil as needed
Brush the chicken breast with olive oil.
In a slow cooker, add chicken breast pieces, sodium chicken broth, minced garlic cloves, minced ginger, paprika, salt, pepper and turmeric. Cover and cook on low flame until chicken is tender for approx 2-3 hours.
Shred chicken using two forks and mix in chopped green onions.
Roast sandwiches on a panini maker or indoor grill until golden brown for approx 6-8 minutes.
