French Toast Recipe
Bread dipped in egg and butter mixture and fried.
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2-3 cinnamon grounded
- 1-2 drops vanilla essence (optional)
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, butter, salt, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence.
Pour the mixture onto flat-bottomed pie plate or baking dish.
Now dip bread slices into the mixture and flip so that both sides of the bread are well coated.
In a pan, melt butter or heat oil on low - medium heat.
Fry the coated toast. Dishout when golden brown.
Serve with honey sauce.
